Website Terms of Use

01Scope and priority

These Terms apply to the Website and any page, feature, form, account or service made available through it. Separate terms issued by or on behalf of Aramco may apply to event registration, attendance, sponsorship, exhibition participation, ticketing, applications, competitions or other services. If those separate terms conflict with these Terms, the separate terms govern the relevant service to the extent of that conflict. Terms of third-party services referred to in Section 11 do not vary these Terms between you and Aramco.

02Purpose of the Website

The Website provides information and digital services relating to iktva Forum 2027, including event information, programme, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, registration, announcements, venue information, media and other related content. Information may be changed, corrected or withdrawn at any time.

03Eligibility, accounts and credentials

You must have legal capacity to accept these Terms. If you use the Website on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation in relation to your use of the Website.

Where an account is provided, you must give accurate and current information, protect your sign-in credentials, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

04Permitted use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use the Website for lawful, personal, informational or legitimate business purposes connected with the event.

05Prohibited conduct

You must not use the Website in a way that is unlawful, harmful or inconsistent with these Terms. In particular, you must not:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, accounts, servers, databases, networks or connected systems;
• interfere with the operation, security, integrity or availability of the Website, including by denial-of-service activity or excessive automated requests;
• introduce malware, malicious code, corrupted data or other harmful technology;
• circumvent access controls, authentication, rate limits or other technical safeguards;
• use bots, crawlers, scraping tools, data-mining tools or automated systems to extract, index or reuse Website content without prior written authorisation, except where applicable law does not permit this restriction;
• use Website content to train, fine-tune or evaluate an artificial intelligence model without prior written authorisation;
• impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity or authority, or submit false, misleading or fraudulent information;
• upload or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, infringing, confidential without authority, or otherwise harmful;
• copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, publish or commercially exploit Website content except as expressly permitted; or
• use the Website in any manner that may damage the event, Aramco, another user or a third party.

06Forms, registrations and submissions

When you submit a registration, enquiry, application or other form, you must provide complete and accurate information and keep it current. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, admission, allocation of exhibition space, sponsorship, participation in a programme, or delivery of any requested service.

We may request supporting information, verify submitted information, reject incomplete or ineligible submissions, or contact you about your submission. Additional registration or participation terms may apply and will be presented separately where relevant.

07User-submitted content and feedback

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us, our affiliates and our service providers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, for as long as reasonably required for these purposes to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display and use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate the Website, administer and promote the event and future iktva events, respond to you, comply with law and provide the relevant service.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions for any content you submit. We may remove, restrict or decline content that violates these Terms or creates legal, security or operational risk. Feedback and suggestions may be used without restriction or payment, provided we do not identify you unless permitted by law.

08Event information and accuracy

We take reasonable care when publishing information, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate, current or free from errors. Event dates, times, programmes, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, venues, access arrangements and other details may change without notice. You should verify time-sensitive information before relying on it or making travel or business arrangements.

09Intellectual property

The Website and its content, including text, data, graphics, photographs, video, audio, downloads, software, source code, interfaces, design, layout and selection or arrangement of materials, are owned by or licensed to Aramco or the relevant rights holder and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view and download materials made expressly available for the purposes permitted under Section 4. You must keep proprietary notices intact and must not modify or create derivative works from those materials unless the Website or the relevant rights holder expressly permits it.

10Names, logos and trademarks

The names Aramco, Saudi Aramco and iktva, associated logos, event branding and other marks displayed on the Website are trademarks or protected brand assets of their respective owners. No licence to use any name, logo or mark is granted except with prior written permission from the relevant owner.

11Third-party services and links

The Website may link to or integrate with third-party websites, registration platforms, maps, media players, social networks or other services. These services are controlled by third parties and may have their own terms and privacy notices. A link or integration does not by itself mean that we endorse the third party or accept responsibility for its content, availability, security or practices.

12Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Notice explains how personal data is collected and processed in connection with the Website. Our Cookies Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used and how preferences may be managed. Both documents form part of the Website information framework and should be read with these Terms.

13Security and availability

We use reasonable measures to protect the Website, but no website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, uninterrupted or error-free. The Website may be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, technical faults, network failures, security events or circumstances beyond our control. We may modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue any part of the Website when reasonably necessary.

You are responsible for using suitable devices, software and security controls and for maintaining your own backups. If you discover a suspected vulnerability, security incident or unauthorised use, contact support@iktva.sa and do not exploit or publicly disclose the issue before we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate.

14Disclaimer

The Website and its content are provided on an as available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude warranties and representations that are not expressly stated in these Terms, including warranties relating to uninterrupted availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or freedom from harmful components.

Nothing on the Website constitutes legal, financial, investment, technical or other professional advice, and nothing on the Website constitutes an offer, commitment or guarantee unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

15Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aramco and its affiliates, personnel, representatives, partners and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss arising from or related to use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Website, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, data or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct or any other matter for which exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

16Restriction and termination

We may restrict, suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Website where reasonably necessary to protect users, systems, legal rights or event operations, to investigate suspected misuse, to comply with law, or where these Terms are materially breached. Provisions intended by their nature to continue will survive termination, including provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and governing law.

17Changes to the Website and these Terms

We may update the Website and these Terms to reflect changes in functionality, event operations, legal requirements or our practices. The updated Terms will be published on the Website with a revised effective date. Continued use after publication means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

18Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes relating to the Website or these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

19General provisions

If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms do not create a partnership, agency, employment or joint venture relationship between you and us.
